Pet portraitsThis page shows a selection of animals I have been commissioned to paint. I usually work from photographs, and arrange the elements of the composition on the computer. For example I can cut the animals from different photographs together in one image and put them on a more picturesque background, I then email the proposed composition to the client for approval, and then I start the painting. |

Wild animalsThis page includes the painting on a narrow boat, a four fold screen and fire screens. Some of the animals on this page are from older paintings and are generally elements in larger compositions often of a surreal nature. |
