ANIMAL PAINTINGS
This page shows a selection of animals I have been commissioned to paint. I usually work from photographs, and arrange the elements of the composition on the computer. For example, animals from different photographs can be incorporated into a single image and put onto a more picturesque background. The proposed composition is then emailed to the client for approval.
This page includes the painting on a narrow boat, a four fold screen and fire screens. Some of the animals on this page are from older paintings and are generally elements in larger compositions, often of a surreal nature.
This page has examples of paintings of chicken, sheep and pigs, mainly executed in a primitive/naive style.
